Glan and I would be racing the Any% Glitchless category, which explores nearly the entirety of the game in a /mostly/ intended manner, but also features some neat techniques and skips, and requires a lot of discipline and deep understanding of the game's many nuances. The Glitchless category aims to complete the game without any major exploits, making for a longer and very technical speedrun, where every detail counts, which even still includes a handful of interesting skips.
